On 4 November, a targeted ransomware attack was confirmed to have hit the networks of at least two companies in Spain – Cadena SER, one of Spain’s largest radio stations, and Everis, a major IT services and consulting provider.

GEOPOLITICS
Shortly after the US imposed additional sanctions on Iran, Iran announced it will continue resuming uranium enrichment. As tensions between the US and Iran continue worsening with no sign of improvements, Saudi Arabia, a close US ally and repeatedly targeted by Iranian attacks, will likely increase national security measures, e.g. by increasing surveillance methods, which could also impact foreign companies operating in the country.
