QuoScient was awarded the 2018 winner of the “IT Security Start Up Pitch” of the Horst Götz Institute for IT Security (HGI) with its product Quolab. QuoScient was successful against a number of other international cyber security start-ups. The top-class jury was particularly impressed by the innovative solutions to operational problems and the team’s practical and comprehensive experience.
Start-ups in the field of IT security and their products in the fight against cyber crime have been honoured in Bochum for 10 years. This year the format was continued by the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security (HGI) of the Ruhr University Bochum with the support of Bochum Wirtschaftsentwicklung, eCapital and Worldfactory. The event was organized by Cube 5 – Creating Security, a start-up incubator.
